50th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS Given to World Series MVP
This year’s World Series was perhaps the most historic match-up in American history. In case you missed it, the Chicago Cubs won the Series for the first time since 1908. They were matched-up against the Cleveland Indians—a team that hadn’t won the Series since 1948.
Chicago won in the seventh game in Cleveland 8-7. Cubs player Ben Zobrist was named the World Series MVP. He earned this title after votes from a media panel and online fan voting through MLB.com, the MLB.com At Bat app, and the club sites.
As an official sponsor of Major League Baseball, and in recognition of his strong performance on the field, Chevrolet presented Zobrist with a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 50th Anniversary Edition convertible.
“In this historic matchup, Zobrist’s performance on the field truly embodies the same ‘Never Give Up’ spirit that drives the Chevrolet team to innovate every day and that has made us the Most Awarded Automotive Brand two years in a row,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Marketing.
This special Camaro features a unique grille, a body-color front splitter, a unique black interior, and more. You can be just like the World Series MVP and drive home in your own 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro.
