How to Remove Odors from a Car
Once an odor has made its home in your car, it can be incredibly difficult to get rid of. Even worse, it could get expensive if you buy specialty products. As it turns out, you likely have everything you need to remove odors at home. Here’s a couple of easy ways to remove odors from a car from us here at Bill Walsh Streator.
- Coffee Grounds – Making your entire car smell like your favorite coffee is as easy as placing coffee grounds in a bowl and leaving them in your car for a few hours. Make sure you keep the windows rolled up. The smell of coffee grounds will quickly overpower that unwanted odor, especially if it’s warm out!
- Vinegar – If you have an odor that simply won’t get out of your car, try pouring a cup of white vinegar and leaving it in your car overnight. Not only will it remove most odors but your car will be left virtually odorless so you can get any air freshener you want.
- Citrus Peels – A smell many people pay for, achieving a fresh citrus smell in your car is as simple as putting some peels in a cup and leaving them in your car for a few hours. By the end of the day, that unwanted smell will be long gone and a fresh fruity smell will reign supreme.
